When you work in an office, it’s perfectly natural that your chair starts to develop a strange odor. However, this doesn’t have anything to do with bad hygiene or anything like that. The reality is that we tend to sweat, even when we don’t notice, and the smell starts to be absorbed by the material that covers your office chair. However, and even by knowing that this is something normal and that happens to everyone, it still is embarrassing and unpleasant.

So, how can you remove an unpleasant smell from your office chair?

#1: Leave It Outdoors:

In case you have the chance and the office where you work at has access to a balcony or a roof, just leave your office chair outdoors for a couple of hours. The best period to do this should be on a cloudy day. This way, your office chair will be under direct sunlight but it won’t affect the material.

In case your office doesn’t have anything like this, you can try to place it near a large window. However, it may take more time to get rid of the unpleasant smell.
